Welcome!

Hello family and friends and random person who accidentally stumbled onto this blog (waves!),

Here's the deal, people: many of you have been receiving e-mails from me with humorous narratives about my life in NYC. Those of you who haven't, I humbly beg your pardon, and ask that you not hit me, throw things at me, or generally attempt to injure me. I did not mean to exclude you, I'm just terrible at keeping in touch...but you're in luck! Inspired by Jenna, I have created this blog to allow you to keep up to date with my latest adventures/weirdness. I intend to update every day. (Hopes no one notices the crossed fingers behind her back...) This might just mean writing a new random thought or putting up a new quote, so don't expect to see a new post every day (I do have a life on occasion, you know! No comments, Jenna...).

So, without further ado, here is my blog! (choir of small boys break into song)

Lurve,
Jules

PS-If anyone knows how to make my Random Thought of the Day and Quote of the Day change each day without me just erasing what is there and putting up something new, please tell me. I'd like to be able to archive these (at least the random thoughts) so that people can go back through and look at past thoughts but I can still keep adding to them.

Hi Jules,

You crack me up. I like the blog- and thanks for the props. What's new in your life? I know you graduated and all that jazz, but how are the new roomies? How's the job search? What else is new? What have you been up to (besides causing lots of mischief)?

Hah! Maybe I should start a blog as well...although I must say I don't find my life all that interesting. I did finally find a job though, at a bank. Not really what I want to do for the rest of my life but hopefully it'll just be something before grad. school. I shall read faithfully Jules...by the way, Fushigi Yugi is on my netflix....

Finally! Now we can be bemused by your zaniness any time, day or night.

RE your random thought of the day and living forever. Here's a quote from KurzweilAI.net.
"Ray Kurzweil claimed that longevity trends are accelerating so fast that the life expectancy will increase more than one year for each year that passes in about 15 years. In other words, if you can hang on another 15 years, your life expectancy could be indefinitely long."
Time may be linear, but we are learning to modify its units.

Hi Jules,

Sorry, was rude of me to enter a comment and not identify myself. So now you know who wrote the unsigned anonymous!!

If you moved sideways in time, would you get sidewaysedly older? Side-ier, perhaps?
